Picture taken while we planned to cycle around central London. I fee the best way to see London is either by walk or cycle, always keeping in mind the Safety.

  1. We used them to get around when we visited London in 2013. We were up in Notting Hill and discovered that we could ride through green spaces almost all the way to Trafalagar Square. Great shot.

    • Nopes, you can choose to bring one of your own. People use it for commuting between places in central London instead of getting into underground
rush. As well people like me for leisure.

      • Oh! So..if say..i forgot to carry my helmet…or say..i made an impromptu decision of cycling today…will cops penalize me if caught without n helmet in London?

      • yes now it will be. Earlier helmets were not compulsory for bike riders, but now they are bringing that rule for the safety of green bike lovers 🙂

  2. So..suppose i happen to not carry a helmet..will I get to rent the cycle..or say, suppose I get it on rent, will I be booked by traffic cops in London for not having a safety helmet on ride.

    • You can still rent the bike. It all automated, you give the card detail and decide on the time you want to hire bike for. Its gets debited and a cycle gets unlocked for you. In case you cross that time, money will be automatically debited from the account. It will be traffic cops who might catch you upon without seeing the helmet.

  4. It needs a keen “photographic” eye to spot such opportunities….Only chosen few have such abilities even though these are from our everyday lives!

    nice capture!
