“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”~ Mark Twain
I consider myself a very adventurous person, I enjoy hiking, trying different sports but along with that I have my fears too. I am trying to overcome those fears and try more things out there in the world.
Here is a snapshot of some of the things I considered gave me a high, an adrenaline rush in the body. I hope to attempt more in near future 🙂 Do read the captions of the photo 🙂
My First Camping Experience was an adventure 🙂My First Bungee Jump, I can still feel that rush 🙂Canyoning without knowing how to Swim was extreme adevnture 🙂Rappelling down on a high cliff, along with posing for a pic was Fun 🙂Sitting on the Pulpit Rock Edge, I could hear my heart beats 🙂At the summit of Ben Nevis, Britain’s Highest Mountain. Temp dropped down to -5 CMy Another attempt with water sports- Kayking, Resulted in toppled up kayak in the middle of sea. Adventure, Yes when I think about it now 😉Getting High on Beer and then a boat ride, a different type of adventure 🙂Hiking up to Go-Mukh to see the point from where this grand river Ganges start to flow in from Glaciers 🙂Not yet a good swimmer, but attempt to swim in the fairy pools was amazing.
Thank you so much for your visit to my blog.
I love water so much 🙂 And yes I do not love being in it so much because I am not a swimmer 😦 But every now and then I try to do something wearing life jacket :D:D and sometimes that is not enough to take away the fear. You must have seen that in toppled up boat LOL
Thank you Thank you so much. I am so glad you liked my experiences, because the stories that I have shared through this post is very much close and I loved them too 🙂
Thank you so much Sylvia. Really loved and appreciate your comment. I have had my heart rush moment in each experience. Like at the Pulpit, it took me couple of secs to push myself and say go Aanchal sit on that edge, you might repent it later 🙂
Thank you so much darling!! I am glad you enjoyed the post. Oh Yes please do bungy jumping, the moment & the feeling right before your jump, believe me you will never ever forget that. For me the secs before my jump, I felt the world around me froze, I froze that I just took the dive 🙂
Thank you so much for the lovely comments. I am glad you enjoyed it. Last one was a place in heaven. Crystal clear water, sky color reflecting in it. Mountains around.. A sight to fall in love …
I am good too. Wow Kerela. Perfect first destination. Those back waters, that greenery around will make you feel you have just entered into a fair land!! Have fun
oh you are so right Gin. My legs were trembling and I was shivering after spending good 5-6 hours in the ice cold water of switzerland. But the fun took away all of it.I would love to do it again 🙂
hmmm I’m not sure I would like to do it again 😀 I did it in Croatia, the water wasn’t that cold 😉 You are very brave (or crazy ??), to want to do it again !!! 😀
We did some scuba diving over there. The sea is rather poor, but there are interresting cave (not too deep). Not the best place to dive according to us, but I suppose there are a lot of different locations. We dived in Dubrovnik.
Hi Raza Rozela.. Thank you so much for your visit to my blog. I am glad you liked it and I hope you will visit it more often. wow you did pulpit too. wasn’t it awesome 🙂
Hi Aanchal, it seemed I might have given the wrong impression earlier — I haven’t hiked the Pulpit, you see. I meant to say, I wish to go there someday 🙂
