Lets go to Brighton

Summer in England always calls for a day trip to Brighton. The beautiful coastal town with a beautiful beach, a fun loaded pier, locals pubs and restaurant is perfect for a sunny day and is truly loved destination of people in England.

I have been to Brighton in each summer and I truly love this place. It has lot of offers for weekend getaways, casinos, night clubs and various summer events. It is also called as “London-by-Sea”, reflecting Brighton’s popularity with Londoners.

Best time: Without a doubt Summers, but I believe every season offers a beauty. So you might want to go for a small stroll in winters as well.

Places to Visit: When at Brighton you may choose to just lie down on beach, sun bathe and enjoy your PIMMS or Pinacolado. Or you can try giving some adrenaline rush to your body by trying out some fun rides in the funfair on the pier. Lots of rides for each group, nibbles and drinks. I am listing down some of the places below:

Brighton Wheel- A steady ride on the giant wheel to get a panorama view of Brighton 🙂

Brighton Clock tower – Built in 1888 for Queen Victoria’s jubilee, stands at the intersection of Brighton’s busiest thoroughfares.

Volk’s Electric Railway- Oldest operating railway in the world, runs to Black rock and Brighton Marina.

Royal Pavilion- is a formal royal palace which is now open to tourist. (I still have not been there, I spent my weekend on the pier and on the beach 😉 )

  1. I live in Hove just down the road from Brighton and it’s great to see such a positive post about the city. Winter is a great time to visit as well. I can certainly recommend a walk along the sea front on a cold windy day, to blow the cobwebs away.

    1. Totally agree with you. That is why I mentioned every place has a beauty in each season. A walk along the coasts will brighten it up even on winter days 🙂

Thankk you so much for reading through.
